Why should I pay my alumnae dues?

Your dues ensure that the GPAA not only exists, but can continue Kappa's mission to provide leadership and growth opportunities for all its members. The GPAA is solely financially supported by the dues payments of Kappas like you!  

What do I get for paying my dues?

Besides knowing that you're supporting Kappa's mission for future generations here in Pittsburgh, members in good standing receive the following:

• Special discounts on our ticketed events
• ​Voting rights on official GPAA business
• Eligibility to serve as a GPAA Officer or Chairman
• Eligibility to serve on an Advisory or House Board*

Where does Dues Money Go?

1. Per Capita Fees: Per Capita fees are sent on your behalf to Fraternity Headquarters, which pays for technology, Fraternity staff and Headquarters needs, publishing and distribution of The Key Magazine, as well as Chapter and Alumnae Association Support.
2. Association Operating Budget: The remaining funds go towards Alumnae Association programming, mail distribution, chapter support, Panhellenic fees, Philanthropy donations, operating expenses, and sending a delegate to the biannual Convention (even years).
